Welcome to my Journey in the Wild
Over 55 days on Hanson Island, I camped in the ancient forest, waking up each morning to the sound of waves sloshing in the cove and falling asleep under the rustling trees, accompanied by the trumpeting of humpbacks in Blackney Pass. I learned not just about orcas, but from them and the nature surrounding me. Every day, I witnessed the same view of Blackney Pass, watching the regular visitors of the area—whales, sea lions, seals, and eagles—offering lessons in patience and presence.
Join me as I explore what the natural world has to teach us and share my experiences of working alongside OrcaLab to protect and understand the remarkable orcas that call these waters home.
